Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated on 10/28/25

We at Rossi Kelton Fine Art Gallery are working to make our site www.rossikeltonfineartgallery.com accessible to people with disabilities.

What web accessibility is

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.

Accessibility adjustments on this site

We have adapted this site in accordance with WCAG [2.0 / 2.1 / 2.2 - select relevant option] guidelines, and have made the site accessible to the level of [A / AA / AAA - select relevant option]. This site's contents have been adapted to work with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard use. As part of this effort, we have also [remove irrelevant information]:

  • Used the Accessibility Wizard to find and fix potential accessibility issues

  • Set the language of the site

  • Set the content order of the site’s pages

  • Defined clear heading structures on all of the site’s pages

  • Added alternative text to images

  • Implemented color combinations that meet the required color contrast

  • Reduced the use of motion on the site

  • Ensured all videos, audio, and files on the site are accessible

Declaration of partial compliance due to third-party content

Rossi Kelton Fine Art Gallery

Rossi Kelton Fine Art Gallery strives for WCAG 2.2 Level AA and equivalent accessibility under applicable U.S. and EU law. Certain portions of our digital experience contain third-party content, components, or embeds (for example: ticketing widgets, video players, map embeds, payment processors, social media iframes, and dealer-supplied media files) that are not fully controlled by us and may not yet meet the same accessibility standard.

Where these third-party elements present barriers, we provide — on request — equivalent alternative access to the same information or transaction (e.g., direct booking by phone/email, transcripts, alternate documents, manual checkout, or human support). We also escalate issues to those vendors and favor accessible suppliers in future procurement.

If you encounter an accessibility barrier linked to third-party content or code on our site, please notify us so we can assist and remediate:

Accessibility arrangements in the organization

Accessibility Arrangement & Commitment
Last updated: October 28, 2025
Rossi Kelton Fine Art Gallery (“the Gallery”) is committed to providing equitable, dignified, and independent access to our exhibitions, programs, retail services, and digital platforms. We design our experiences to be usable by people with diverse abilities and we provide reasonable accommodations upon request.
1) Scope
This arrangement applies to:

  • All public-facing physical spaces we operate (gallery rooms, shop, restrooms, event areas).

  • All events and programs (talks, tours, openings, workshops, online programs).

  • All digital content and services we control (website, ticketing, e-commerce, PDFs, videos, social media we manage, and onsite kiosks).

2) U.S. accessibility (ADA Title III)
We comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and state/local access codes. Key practices include:

  • Service animals are welcome in all public areas. Staff may ask only the two ADA-permitted questions; documentation is not required. Emotional support animals are handled per applicable law. ADA.gov+1

  • Effective communication: We provide auxiliary aids and services on request (e.g., qualified ASL interpreters, real-time captioning, assistive listening devices, large-print or braille materials, audio description). We choose aids in consultation with the requestor to ensure communication is as effective as with others. ADA.gov+1

  • Reasonable modifications: We modify policies and practices when necessary to avoid discrimination unless doing so would fundamentally alter the nature of a service or create an undue burden.

3) European accessibility (EU market)
For EU audiences and transactions, we align with the European Accessibility Act (EAA) and the EN 301 549 accessibility standard for ICT. The EAA became enforceable for in-scope products and services on June 28, 2025, with limited transition allowances in some cases through June 28, 2030 for existing offerings as local laws are implemented. We design our digital and customer-service journeys to meet these requirements. Digital Strategy EU+3Ensono+3TestFort+3
4) Digital accessibility standard

  • We target WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance for our website, online ticketing, e-commerce, PDFs, video/audio, and kiosks we control. WCAG 2.2 is the current W3C web standard (Oct 5, 2023) and is referenced or incorporated by many laws and standards worldwide. W3C+2W3C+2

  • Where EU requirements extend beyond WCAG (e.g., certain software, documents, hardware, or assistive tech compatibility under EN 301 549), we address those additional criteria. Digital Strategy EU+2TPGi — a Vispero company+2

5) Physical access

  • Entrance & circulation: Step-free entrance or ramp, accessible paths throughout exhibitions, and turning space at key locations.

  • Seating & resting points: Benches or seats in galleries and queue areas.

  • Restrooms: At least one accessible restroom with signage.

  • Lighting & signage: Non-glare lighting where feasible; high-contrast, easy-to-read signs with tactile/Braille for core wayfinding.

  • Emergency procedures: Staff are trained in assisting patrons with disabilities during evacuations; visual and audible alarms where installed.

6) Programs & exhibitions

  • Accessible formats: Large-print labels, image descriptions, transcripts/captions for media works, audio guides, and tactile diagrams where feasible.

  • Tours: ASL-interpreted, captioned, and audio-described tours available on request; some offered regularly.

  • Quiet hours / sensory-friendly: We schedule reduced-stimulus visiting hours periodically; noise-reducing aids available at the desk.

7) Events & ticketing

  • Advance requests: To help us arrange aids (e.g., interpreters, CART), please contact us at least 5 business days before an event; we will always attempt to accommodate requests made on shorter notice.

  • Companion seating: Available on request at no extra charge.

  • Line management: Priority entry or alternative queuing available for visitors who cannot stand for long periods.

8) Website & digital content practices

  • Design & code: Semantic HTML; proper headings; labels and instructions; keyboard operability; visible focus; predictable navigation; color-contrast checks; error prevention on forms; skip links; no content that flashes more than 3 times/second.

  • Media: Captions for all prerecorded video; transcripts for audio; audio description or equivalent for essential visual information.

  • Documents: PDFs and downloadable materials produced to accessible standards (tagged structure, reading order, alt text); accessible HTML alternatives where practical.

  • Testing: Automated scans + assistive-technology spot checks (screen readers, magnification, speech input) before major releases and at least quarterly thereafter.

  • Third-party platforms: We select accessible vendors when feasible. Where third-party components or i frames are not fully accessible, we will provide an alternative method to complete the task.

9) Procurement
We prioritize vendors and contractors whose products conform to WCAG 2.2 AA and relevant parts of EN 301 549. Accessibility requirements are included in RFPs and contracts, with remediation timelines if gaps are discovered. Digital Strategy EU
10) Roles & training

  • Accessibility Lead: [Name/Title] oversees program, roadmaps, and complaint resolution.

  • Staff training: New-hire and annual refreshers on disability etiquette, service-animal rules, effective communication, and evacuation assistance. ADA.gov+1

11) Feedback & grievances
We welcome your input. If you encounter a barrier online or onsite, contact us using any of the methods below. We will acknowledge within 2 business days and aim to resolve or provide a timeline within 15 business days.
