Light reaches the water before it touches the sails. It breaks into silver fragments across the surface, each ripple catching and releasing brightness like a quiet pulse. The sea becomes a living mirror, never still, always reshaping what it reflects.

The Bluenose II emerges within this shifting field of light, its dark hull grounded against the luminous water. Above, the sails gather sunlight in soft layers—warm whites and gentle shadows that move with the wind. Nothing is fixed; everything is carried.

Below, the reflection stretches and dissolves. The sails elongate into wavering lines of light, pulled apart by motion, reformed by each passing ripple. Blue deepens, silver flickers, and the horizon hums with quiet radiance.
