Solo Sailing in Abstract Waters begins in a field where light and water are inseparable. The sea is not a surface but a shifting composition—bands of blue deepening into shadow, streaks of gold rising like sudden warmth, fragments of color bending with each imagined wave. Light does not rest upon the water; it lives within it, moving, dissolving, reappearing.

The sailor moves alone through this living spectrum, guided less by direction than by sensation. The sail catches a sharp brilliance, a moment of clarity that cuts through the fluid world, then softens as it drifts into quieter tones. Every movement alters the light, every turn reshapes the sea.
