They gather like small worlds—circles of yellow, magenta, cyan—each luminous on its own, yet never isolated. As they overlap, light does not simply combine; it thins, filters, and transforms. Yellow glows with openness, cyan cools the space, magenta pulses with quiet intensity. But where they meet, something begins to withdraw.
Colors deepen into unexpected tones. Cyan and magenta lean toward blue, but it feels denser, quieter. Yellow crossing magenta warms into orange, yet softened, as if part of its brightness has been taken away. In the layered intersections, light is reduced, and with that reduction, depth emerges.
The circles seem playful, almost buoyant, but beneath their rhythm lies a subtle gravity. Each overlap is a decision—what to keep, what to lose. The viewer’s eye moves through these fields, sensing the shifts, adjusting to what is no longer fully present.
Here, color is shaped by absence. Light becomes selective, subtracting itself to reveal new harmonies. And in that quiet removal, perception discovers a different kind of richness—one that lives not in fullness, but in restraint.
