Three boats on Lake Lanier morning drift within a hush of rising light. The sky opens in soft blue, and a pale glow gathers behind the clouds, as if the day is being gently revealed rather than announced. Light settles across the water in thin, shimmering strokes, turning the lake into a quiet field of movement.

Each boat receives the light differently. One catches it in small, broken reflections along its side, another holds it in color, its sail becoming a soft, luminous presence. The third rests in a quieter glow, half within shadow, half within brightness, as if suspended between night and day.

The water carries everything—sky, boats, light—blending them into a single, fluid experience. Reflections stretch and dissolve, reshaping with every ripple, reminding the eye that nothing here is fixed.
